About Renat Heuberger

Advancing social impact, fighting global injustice, and promoting conservation and climate finance have been at the core of Renat’s work for the past two decades, not only as an investor and developer of carbon and nature assets, but also as a creator and enabler of multi-stakeholder platforms.

Renat holds a Master degree in Environmental Sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) and has completed executive education programs at INSEAD and the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS).

Renat is based in Zurich and rooted in Europe, but has spent a significant time of his life in the Global South, including over five years in various roles in Indonesia.

Renat is a regular blogger, opinion leader and keynote speaker at high-level events on climate finance, biodiversity and sustainability, and is the author of the climate-fiction novel The Carbon Paradox.
