Adele Blakebrough is a leading social entrepreneur and the was Chief Executive of the Social Business Trust (SBT), which she founded in 2010. SBT helps scale social enterprises through partnerships with major corporations like Credit Suisse, Clifford Chance, and BT. Adele’s career includes roles such as Director of Kaleidoscope, a charity for heroin addicts, and co-founder of CAN (Community Action Network). Awarded an MBE in 2006, she has worked on CSR strategies with companies including Sony and Coca-Cola.

Adele’s engaging speaking style, honed by her background as a Baptist Minister, is known for connecting her experiences with those of her audience. She speaks to diverse groups, sharing a vast array of stories from community recycling to drug abuse recovery to inspire and educate. Adele organised the influential Great Banquet in 1997 (at which Tony Blair was present) and has advised political leaders on social enterprise initiatives. Based in the UK, she continues to champion corporate responsibility and social entrepreneurship globally.
