Sir Anthony McCoy ended a truly phenomenal career in April 2015 as Champion Jockey for the 20th consecutive year, recording 4348 wins (which includes the 2010 Grand National, the prestigious Cheltenham Gold Cup, Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase & King George VI Chase). He spent his career setting records which will not be broken in our lifetime – a tribute to his stamina, endurance, motivation and dedication to the world of sport.
He is the only sportsman of his kind to have been awarded ‘BBC Sports Personality of the Year’, to receive the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at SPOTY & ‘BT’s Outstanding Contribution to Sport Award’ (amongst many others).
AP is a high profile Ambassador for global corporations and co-presents on ITV at they key racing festivals across the year.
