About Sam & Mark

Sam & Mark first appeared on our screens as contestants on Pop Idol in 2003. Their friendship began whilst filming backstage and they have been inseparable ever since. When not busy filming or on dad duties, they work closely with several brands and charities and are both patrons of Whizz-Kidz. Mark is also a patron of Kicks Count.

Biography

Sam & Mark received two Children’s BAFTAs (Best Presenters and Best Entertainment Show) for Sam & Marks Big Friday Wind up on CBBC. This ran for a remarkable eight series. Due to the huge success of BFWU, they have been announced as the new hosts of the hotly anticipated revamp of family favourite, Crackerjack.

The duo have also appeared as guests on Sunday Brunch, Celebrity Juice, The Xtra Factor, This Morning and The Chase: Celebrity Special to name but a few. Sam and Mark also competed against each other on ITV’s Dancing on Ice. More recently, Mark appeared on Celebrity Mastermind and Sam reached the final of BBC’s Celebrity MasterChef.

With so much live TV experience, they have written a family stage show, Sam and Marks On The Road Show. They have performed this show at festivals all over the UK, including at Park Resorts and Butlins.

Having hosted and performed their show at a number of live events including Camp Bestival, Geronimo Festival, Dalriada Festival, and Kidtropolis at the Birmingham NEC, further dates are set to be announced for 2020, including a return to Camp Bestival.

Sam and Mark are also successful authors, their first children’s book, The Adventures of Long Arm was published in 2015. This was followed by the release of their second book, The Adventure of Long Arm vs The Evil Supply Teacher.
