About Paul Shamplina
Paul Shamplina is an award-winning speaker and leader in his field, driven by a deep understanding of the need to constantly evolve in order to succeed personally and professionally. Paul set up Landlord Action to put this expertise to good use, specialising in fixed-fee property recovery and tenant eviction in England and Wales. He has since become a key figure throughout the property industry, hosting seminars, running training courses, and working with leading websites, forums and magazines to offer professional advice and guidance on everything from legislative changes to growing a property business.
Most recently, Paul and his team at Landlord Action have featured regularly in Channel Five’s hit series ‘Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords’ (2015 – 2022). Paul has also co-hosted the ‘The Property Hour’ with Clive Bull on LBC Radio, and regularly contributes his expert guidance on BBC Radio London’s Drivetime with Eddie Nestor.
A down to earth Londoner, Paul has a great sense of humour and has helped thousands of landlords, letting agents and property businesses. He travels the country speaking, giving advice and carrying out regular seminars, and has acquired a reputation as “The Landlord’s Friend”, having co-written two books with fellow property expert, Kate Faulkner, to help landlords manage their properties.
Paul believes passionately in campaigning for a fairer private rented sector (for landlords and tenants) and campaigns tirelessly to improve standards, attending numerous Government Round Table to share his knowledge and effect change.
Furthermore, Paul is not only crucial to this industry because he knows the market inside out, but he is an asset to many other organisations who have learnt from him as he has developed his brand based on what the industry needs, not just on what his business needs.
Paul has achieved numerous accolades, including ‘Best Seminar Speaker’ at The National Landlord Investment Show Awards 2022 & 2019 and ‘Spokesperson of the Year’ at the Property Reporter Awards 2020.
