About Mark Ramprakash

Mark made his first-class debut for Middlesex at 17 and earned his first England call-up at 21. After moving to Surrey in 2001, he enjoyed an exceptional period of county cricket, joining the select group of players to score 100 first-class centuries. In both 2006 and 2007, he averaged more than 100 runs per innings, demonstrating his ability to refine his approach and reach new levels of performance late in his career.

His journey offers an honest perspective on the challenges of elite sport, from managing expectations and handling setbacks to finding consistency. Having experienced both outstanding county success and the pressures of international cricket, Mark brings insight into confidence, preparation and the different environments in which people perform at their best.

After retiring, Mark moved into coaching, working with Middlesex, England Lions and the England senior team. His experience on both sides of the player-coach relationship informs his approach to supporting individuals, communicating effectively and helping talented people develop.

Beyond cricket, Mark won the fourth series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2006. Learning a new discipline and performing in front of a national television audience adds another dimension to his story, making him a relevant choice for leadership conferences, team events and after-dinner engagements seeking a perspective on growth, adaptability and achievement.
