From his early days appearing in films to financing his own training at the Corona Stage Academy, Larry has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to his craft. His significant breakthrough came in 1962 with Joan Littlewood’s Theatre Workshop, where he was an original cast member of the landmark musical “Oh, What A Lovely War!”, showcasing his talent in London, Paris, and Broadway.

Larry’s filmography is extensive, featuring roles in the beloved “Carry On” series, alongside performances in films with cinema legends such as Sir Norman Wisdom and Anthony Hopkins. His television career is equally impressive, with memorable roles in iconic British series including “The Bill”, where his portrayal of Sergeant Alec Peters made him a household name.
