About James Lang

James Lang, a prominent figure in rugby having played for Harlequins, currently playing for Edinburgh Rugby and capped at international level for Scotland.

Initially representing Harlequins at schoolboy level, it would be his playing time at Welsh side, Rygbi Gogledd Cymru where he gained prominence in his rugby career and saw him hone his skills at number 10.

In 2016, at the age of 22, Lang returned to the Harlequins academy and subsequently made successful appearances as at fly-half/inside centre for Harlequins first team; known for his strong and accurate kicking.

After a 5 year contract at Harlequins, James would go onto sign for United Rugby Championship side Edinburgh Rugby where he retains the number 10 position.

On the international stage, Lang began representing Scotland at the U18 level in 2013 however, in 2018, he was selected as part of the Scottish squad for a summer tour to Canada, the United States, and Argentina where he earned his first senior cap for Scotland.

Langs career has been shaped by dedication, hard work and the ability to adapt and overcome the continued pressure a high level sporting individual is exposed to. Not only does he thrive in this environment, he does it with humour. In his keynote speeches, he explores several themes that resonate across various aspects of business, such as leadership and managing pressure.
