About Dija Ayodele
Dija Ayodele is widely recognised for driving change in the beauty industry. As an educator in diversity and inclusion within beauty, she has led panel discussions with organisations including the House of Commons, Stylist Live, Cosmoprof and Refinery29, and she also serves as a trustee at Beauty Backed.
Recognising that meaningful change requires industry education, Dija also hosts workshops for brands and organisations on how to better attract and serve consumers of colour. Her clients have included Soho House Group’s Cowshed, Aesthetic Journal and Aesthetic Medicine Journal.
In November 2021, Dija published her first book, Black Skin: The Definitive Skincare Guide, a comprehensive resource dedicated to understanding and caring for darker skin tones.
Dija has collaborated with major brands including No7, Sainsbury’s, Cantu Shea Butter and StriVectin. She is available for live demonstrations, panel discussions and Q&A sessions.
