"Our organisation has commissioned April on several occasions to speak at our events. The roles that April has played has included as a subject matter expert on domestic abuse particularly relating to those with insecure migration status, homelessness and the vulnerabilities of black women and as a motivational speaker about empowering people of colour at an after dinner event. April brings both her expertise, her analysis and her direct and empowering approach to every event that she has enabled for us."
