Anita Anand
Anita Anand, BBC presenter and journalist, is a highly-skilled presenter, event host and facilitator. Used to interviewing politicians live, she has an innate ability to coordinate lively debate and expertly chair all kinds of events.
About Anita Anand
Anita Anand is a BBC news and politics broadcaster. She took over from Jonathan Dimbleby as host of Radio 4’s debate programme Any Answers. She previously co-presented The Daily Politics with Andrew Neil and also Double Take, The Anita Anand Show and 5Live’s Sunday morning show exploring the stories behind the headlines.
Her late night show was a mix of light, shade and downright surreal. A loyal listenership was often treated to a night of serious discussion about the top news story of the day mingled with emotional interviews of a deeply personal nature. And a degree of fun and farce – (Darth Vader invaded the studio one evening).
Anita Anand knows what makes on stage discussions work and is a deft facilitator. She has chaired debates at the London Assembly. She has hosted numerous charity events and conducted on-stage interviews at Clarence House (interviewing David Attenborough in front of a capacity crowd) and at literary festivals.
Today, she is the author of the acclaimed Sophia – Princess, Suffragette, Revolutionary, a biography of an Indian princess. Her latest book, Koh-i-Noor, the story of the world’s most infamous diamond, is already an international bestseller.

Testimonials
"Anita was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was extremely approachable and was very easy to brief. She had obviously prepared well in advance. I know our management team were delighted with the way she interacted with speakers, asked probing questions and facilitated debate and questions from the floor."
