About Vicki Butler Henderson

Vicki Butler Henderson is best known for the Channel 5 show ‘Fifth Gear’ alongside Tiff Needell, Jason Plato, Jonny Smith and Tom Ford.  Furthermore, Vicki is also a motoring journalist and has written for a number of publications including ‘Car Mechanics’, ‘Max Power’,  ‘Daily Telegraph’ and ‘What Car?’. She is also a popular choice for corporate work and voiceovers.

Biography

Vicki Butler Henderson hosted the second series of ‘The Biggest Loser’ on Living TV and co-presented the thirteenth series of ‘Fifth Gear’ for Five. Vicki also co-hosted ‘Domino Day’ on Five with Joe Challands in which her energy and sense of fun were essential.

She hosted the daytime show ‘Date My Daughter’, ‘Touring Cars’, ‘The Boat Show’, ‘The Farnborough Air Show’, ‘Formula Woman’ and ‘Speed Sunday’ all for ITV. Prior to this she co-hosted BBC’s Top Gear, aswell as ‘Holiday on a Shoestring’, ‘Country File’ and ‘One Man and His Dog’ all for BBC.

Vicki Butler Henderson’s motor experience is extensive and first hand.

She completed her first motor sport race at the age of 12 (in a 100cc kart) and was a racing instructor at Brands Hatch and Silverstone by the age of 17. In 2004 she made history by becoming the first woman to win a Maserati race in the history of the Italian manufacturer.

Vicki’s love of all things related to motor sport and speed has led her to spend a great deal of her spare time racing cars; everything from single seaters to saloon cars. She currently holds a Race National C licence as well as a Power Boat racing licence. She is also the proud owner of a Ducati Monster 750!

In her spare time when she is not haring around, Vicki is an avid reader of all types of literature and having grown up on a farm, knows a great deal about animals.  She is also a fan of snooker, darts and loves skiing.
