About Pam Rhodes
Pam Rhodes is one of Britain’s most familiar and respected broadcasters, having presented a wide range of television and radio programmes throughout her career. Best known for her work on BBC One’s Songs of Praise, she spent more than a decade fronting the popular prime-time series, travelling across the UK and around the world to present both live and recorded programmes.
Her natural ability to connect with people has enabled her to conduct sensitive and insightful interviews with a diverse range of high-profile figures, including Pope John Paul II, Dr Christiaan Barnard, Sir James Galway, Pat Boone, Sir Cliff Richard, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and members of the Royal Family.
Beyond Songs of Praise, Pam has anchored live news programmes for Anglia Television, presented travel and lifestyle series for ITV and the BBC, and hosted numerous special broadcasts, seasonal programmes and major live events. Her experience also extends to radio, where she has worked on a variety of national and regional programmes.
Alongside her broadcasting work, Pam has built a successful career as an author, with her debut novel, With Hearts and Hymns and Voices, becoming the UK’s bestselling Christian book following publication. She has since written several further books for leading publishers.
