About George Clarke

George Clarke has a mammoth passion which shines through in all the series he presents.  At the forefront of his aim is to make architecture popular and accessible to all. And he does this through his presenting, lecturing and speaking to highlight how architecture has an ability to transform everyday lives.

Biography

George Clarke is seen as a people’s architect because he explains it to his viewers in a manner that is easy to understand.  His cheery persona shines through in everything he presents including Channel 4’s Remarkable Renovations, Ugly House to Lovely House, Restoration Man, Shed of the Year, The Great British Property Scandal, George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces and Old House, New Home.

In 2000, George established his own business and has attracted a highly respected reputation. His talented design company has  a very high profile client list.

Dedicated to innovative residential, cultural and urban design projects across the world George also teaches at university. These all enable him to develop ways of creating new kinds of architecture.
