About Angie Best

Angie Bests’ career that began in 1970s Beverly Hills, Angie quickly became a sought-after fitness guru, working with some of Hollywood’s most iconic names including Priscilla Presley, Cher, Sharon Stone, Daryl Hannah, and Britt Ekland. Her philosophy has always been clear: optimal health is about balanced nutrition, regular movement, and the confidence to embrace every stage of life.

Now based in the UK, Angie runs her flagship Metaphysical gym in Henley-on-Thames, where she coaches women on how to look and feel their best, particularly in midlife and beyond. Her holistic approach covers everything from nutritional guidance and weight management to exercise for bone health, and even demystifying plastic surgery for those curious but cautious.

A passionate speaker, Angie brings decades of expertise, humour, and no-nonsense advice to her talks, making her a hit with audiences seeking practical, empowering health guidance. She is currently writing her debut lifestyle guide for women over 40, designed to inspire others to thrive during their ‘Best’ years.

Angie remains a glowing example of her own teachings, having fronted a swimwear campaign and championed the message that life truly begins at 50.
