About Antony Worrall Thompson

Antony’s extensive television career includes iconic programmes such as Ready Steady Cook, ITV’s Daily Cook’s Challenge, BBC2’s Food & Drink, and Saturday Kitchen on BBC1 (2003–2006). He has also appeared on major entertainment shows including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Hottest Classroom on Earth, and Who’s Doing the Dishes?, showcasing both his versatility and broad audience appeal.

A prolific writer, Antony has published more than 30 cookery books alongside an autobiography. In 2010, he received the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu World Food Media Award for Best Health and Nutrition Book for The Essential Diabetes Cookbook. He also spent 12 years as a weekly columnist for the Saturday Express and Express on Sunday Magazine, becoming one of their longest-serving celebrity contributors, and has written regularly for titles including Good Food, Delicious, Cosmopolitan and Good Housekeeping.

Alongside his media work, Antony is a passionate advocate for organic farming and sustainable produce, growing ingredients for his restaurants Kew Grill in London and The Greyhound near Henley-on-Thames.
