The incredibly talented Jennie Storr has perfected the art of painting pictures with words. She is naturally observant and turns her amazing life experiences into sensitive, funny and highly informative speeches. Schooled around the world Jennie trained as a speaker at Samford University, in Birmingham Alabama. She believes twenty-six moves between the ages of two and twenty-one shaped her life and she explains just how much this way of living influenced her. "It gave me my accent, my education, my husband, my children and my speaking career. The road to a more settled life has been paved with adventure, laughter and tears.
In addition to her many speaking engagements which keep her up to date with the subtle changes in the way that the audience wants in the 21st Century, Jennie Storr is regularly asked to coach business men and women who find public speaking a daunting task. She conducts one-to-one and group sessions as well as speech making and writing seminars and workshops around the UK. She still loves standing up and giving her own talks. "Hearing the audience laugh is such a joy and a challenge." She has nine different talks all of which include humour and pathos. Jennie wants you to learn while simply laughing and enjoying yourselves.

And Another Thing!
I never grumble but the other day…….Audiences have been screaming with laughter at this talk based on some of the things that make us all grumble from time to time or as one professor put it; every 21 minutes.
Mother of the Bride
Everything Jennie does seems to turn into a saga and this is no different. Ladies have been crying with laughter at the antics that follow Jennie while helping to plan her daughter’s wedding in both a beautiful Scottish castle and a beautiful Church of Scotland Kirk.
Travels with the Colonel
This talk is both funny and poignant, about growing up around the world. It starts with a chance meeting in wartime London that leads to a whirlwind romance. This is a true love story with real-life ups and downs and lots of laughter as well as tears. You will hear about the difficulties Jennie’s Mother had when moving from the UK to Virginia, USA in 1947 with the different foods and most of all the different language.
So this is Tokyo!
Learn what it was like to live in such a fascinating country as a small girl in the 1950’s in what was considered to be an occupied country. Jennie’s father was a Colonel in the US Army when he was stationed in Japan after being in Korea. Jennie and her Mother were able to join him in Tokyo for 2 years and so opened up a truly amazing world to such a small child.
All Thanks to the Berlin Wall
This is the story of how events that happen around the world even before you are born can actually change the course of your life forever with laughter and history along the way.
Pummelled and Pampered
