Colonel Bob Stewart was a army officer for 26 years, he is best known for his command of the United Nations peacekeeping forces in Bosnia. He has worked in some of the toughest circumstances in the world, and was awarded the Distinguished Service Order for leadership and gallantry.

Colonel Bob Stewart is now a Conservative MP, broadcaster in news and current affairs and is seen regularly as a commentator on all the main television channels as well as contributing on radio.
During his long career in the Army he has been an intelligence officer, company commander, Sandhurst instructor, staff officer, military assistant, commanding officer and Colonel, serving in countries across the world.
He holds a 1st Class Degree in International Politics from the University of Wales and is a fellow of Kingston University Business and Law School. He is also the Chairman of the Independent Defence Media Association.
