Beatrice is a safe and responsible performer, accustomed to commanding the stage in grand opera. As a comedian, she offers superb stage presence, sharp wit and intimate connection with the audience. With no foul language and no libellous asides, she is charming and fully in control of the room. Her act appeals to both opera lovers and opera haters. The voice has been described as glorious and the comedy happens from the opera singer’s point of view – which audiences find fresh and intriguing.
“I invited Beatrice to perform as a stand-up comedian at one of the events I produced - World Retail Forum in Amsterdam, March 15th-16th, 2018. She was a delight to work with. She prepares well for her performance by understanding her audience and their background, especially when she had to perform for executives from top global companies like IBM, Google, Hershey, Shell and Lidl etc. Beatrice’s stand-up comedy was really refreshing. The uniqueness of her performance is that she can sing Opera as well, which I am sure only a handful of people can do. It was much like a story, just great, funny, silly (clever) comedy - no pretence, no politics and no defaming. We definitely had a good laugh!” – Dr Rashmi Kumarti, Event Production Manager, Corporate Parity, March 2018
“Beatrice is an inspiring speaker, bringing a surprising and refreshing touch with her personal artistic performances. I thoroughly enjoyed it when she took the stage at the end of a long business seminar and took the attendees on a voyage through her personal experiences using a unique combination of operatic singing and stand-up comedy. It was an unconventional and refreshing experience that lifted spirits, made people smile and was rewarded with a long ovation by all attendees. Do consider rounding of your event with one of Beatrice’s performances. “ – Louis de Bruin, Blockchain Leader Europe at IBM Digital, March 2018
“I roared with laughter. She has a delightfully natural and honest presentation style that connects with the audience even when, like me, they have little knowledge of opera!” – Mark Lee, regional Speaker Factor chairman, Professional Speaking Association, July 2017
“Beatrice gave a recital in the Square Mile Music Series at St Mary-at-Hill and it was superb. Her performance was electric and left everyone wanting more. “– Robert Mingay-Smith, Director of Music, St Mary-at-Hill City of London, April 2017.
