When a client contacts us they either have the person they wish to book in mind or they ask us for our recommendations. We give great thought to each client’s requirements and always ensure we match the most appropriate suggestions to their brief and available budget.
Many clients require a keynote speaker. The word keynote is understood to have evolved from the practice of a cappella, such as doo-wop or barbershop singers, playing a note before singing. The note played determines the key in which the song will be performed. Hence a keynote speaker is a person who delivers a speech which sets out the underlying theme of the event or conference agenda and they are usually booked to open and close morning and/or afternoon sessions at events.
A great keynote speaker is always highly regarded in his or her field, usually from the corporate arena but also may have achieved recognition due to other accomplishments such as sporting greatness. They always prove to be a great draw and usually raise the enthusiasm levels amongst the event attendees.
A good keynote speaker tells the audience something it doesn't already know or hasn't already thought about; they capture the theme of the event and weave the keynote message into their presentation.
We have an impressive number of keynote speakers at The Speakers Agency and they come from all areas of industry, business, sport and politics. They speak on any number of subjects including change management, leadership, entrepreneurship, media, the future and achievement.
We are also very proud of our list of truly motivational and inspirational speakers who blow their audiences away with their unbelievable focus, tenacity, determination to reach their goals, ability to overcome massive life hurdles and genuine candour.
Our dinner speakers are highly skilled at entertaining, informing and keeping the attention of their audiences even when the night has been long, the dinner protracted and the wine has been flowing… and flowing. And it is worth remembering speaking after dinner doesn’t necessarily mean the speaker has to be a comedian. An amusing industry great, a famous entrepreneur or a celebrity raconteur sharing hilarious stories as opposed to jokes is just as good.
Other popular requirements are for plenary, breakout and closing speakers. The brief determines who we suggest so that they match all of the client’s requirements and deliver an outstanding presentation.
Our impressive list of awards hosts, panel facilitators, conference chairs means there is someone for every type of event and they come from every sector. There are many who hail from the media. Hugely professional and in many instances first class journalists, they fill an essential role and ensure the smooth running of conferences, panel and break out sessions.
We don’t feature everyone on our website but we have access to all speakers and hosts in the UK and across the world so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have some one in mind but can’t find them on our website. They are but just a phone call away.
