Henry Holland is a designer, businessman and blogger. He is the creator of House of Holland and popular DJ. Henry is a keen speaker and one of London's chief architects in the wave of creative talent sweeping the capital.
About Henry Holland
Henry Holland hosted ‘Frock Me’ with Alexa Chung in October 2008 and again with and Gemma Cairney in 2010. In 2012 Holland starred as a judge on fashion design show Styled to Rock airing on Sky Living. The show, with Rihanna as an executive producer took unknown British designers, giving them the opportunity to design for celebs such as Cheryl Cole, The Saturdays and Katy B. He was also another guest judge on the show Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star season 2.
Henry Holland is the creator of the outrageous House of Holland label. His upbeat manner typifies the A-list of fashion entrepreneurs and astute businessmen which have swept the capital in recent years. Awarded the BFC New Generation sponsorship from Topshop at an early age, Henry’s designs quickly flourished displaying a mature aesthetic well beyond his years.
His work then went on to be displayed twice in swift succession under the Fashion East umbrella where he launched his imaginative and Cheeky Tees collection as part of an industry in-joke before moving onto more serious formal wear, while still displaying his trademark typographic theme.
Today, House of Holland is sold alongside some of the world’s most sought after designers, in Dover Street Market in London, Barneys in New York, Lane Crawford in Hong Kong, and Isetan in Tokyo. House of Holland was voted Best Tartan at the Scottish Fashion Awards, for the exclusive tweed produced by Savile Row’s Norton & Sons.
Henry has since gone on to design a collection for Levi Strauss & Co and created Debenham’s H! line of clothing for women. House of Holland enjoys a magnetic fan base including Sienna Miller, Nicole Ritchie, the Olsen Twins, Gwen Stefani, Fergie, Naomi Campbell, Pixie Geldof, Daisy Lowe, and Agyness Deyn, as well as Christopher Kane, Richard Nicoll, Gareth Pugh, and Marc Jacobs. With its motto passio factions, House of Holland strives to be elegant and sophisticated while retaining a strong sense of fun and rebellion.
