This Derby born, self-made entrepreneur with a larger than life personality, founded the influential label, Ratchet Clothing. Using fashion as a way to celebrate diversity, individuality and freedom, Ratchet took the Internet by storm having gained tens of thousands of followers on Facebook within its first month of starting.

It all began when Dhillan dropped out of a photography course during his first year of college. Keen to hone his talents, Dhillan began experimenting with tie-dye designs in his families garage before opening his first shop in Long Eaton. Soon the sales picked up and the Ratchet Empire fast flourished, employing 17 people in a few short weeks.

Now with a social presence of over half a million followers, Dhillan uses his voice to campaign passionately for causes such as equality, mental health and social injustice. He can regularly be seen and heard on BBC News, Sky News and BBC Asian Network.

Keen to test his creativity and the versatility of his work, Halloween 2015 gave birth to ‘The Ratchet Horror Show’ an artistic showcase, styled and choreographed by Dhillan. This groundbreaking production provided equal opportunity for models from all walks of life, including transgender and plus size participants, allowing diversity to take centre stage. With two sold out shows in one day, the show created mass excitement in London, catching the attention of Channel 4.

Early 2016 saw Dhillan feature on Channel 4's millennial based documentary, ‘Rich Kids Go Shopping’. Delving deep into both his business and lifestyle, Dhillan revealed the highs and lows of being the founder of a fast-growing business whilst living in his teens.

With a second brand on the way, partnerships with Netflix in the pipeline and famous faces consistently buying into Dhillan and his brand, this young mogul is becoming an unstoppable creative force within the world of fashion and entertainment.
